Does your colour palette change as the seasons change?

According to http://www.algonquinpark.on.ca/ we've moved past the peak of vibrant leaf colour changes, though you will still catch the odd tree showing off it's fiery yellow/orange/red leaves.

If you are a landscape painter, your colour palette may change and reflect the seasons as we move through them, but do those artists who choose to work with other subject matters or styles of painting also experience changes in their own colour selection?

  1. I seem to be painting mostly in blues and greens right now... so I guess I am bucking this trend!

  3. I paint portraits so I deal with a fairly limited palette as it is. As for other art I do I still have a basic palette, just adding what I want according to what I'm painting. Seasons have nothing to do with it. It comes from within.
